Horsehair Broom

Our horsehair brooms are made from Swiss beech wood and are guaranteed to be made from 100% horsehair. This prevents the classic matting as far as possible.  The bristles are carefully pulled in and linked by hand, bundle by bundle, by blind people. Horsehair brooms are best used on smooth, dry floors with fine dirt.

Pure, genuine horsehair is a high-quality material that cannot be surpassed in terms of quality, but therefore also has a comparatively higher price. There are therefore no 100% horsehair brooms on the “free” mass market. However, we are convinced that the significantly longer service life and, above all, the outstanding mopping quality more than make up for the higher price.

Lengths 30 / 40 / 50 cm have a hole socket in the manual version, i.e. the handle (see accessories) is inserted at 90°. Lengths from 60 cm and (>=40 cm + in the punched version) are designed for a handle holder (see accessories), which has a 45° angle so that the broom can be pushed comfortably in front of you.
